Anasuya Sarabhai (11 November 1885 – 1972), a noted social activist and a pioneer of the women’s labor movement in India. He founded Mazdoor Mahajan Sangh in Ahmedabad in 1920, which is the oldest union of textile workers in India. Jivatram Bhagwandas Kripalani (11 November 1888 – 19 March 1982), an Indian freedom fighter and politician. He started his professional career as a teacher. He had close contact with the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. He had also been the principal of ‘Gujarat Vidyapeeth’, since then he was called ‘Acharya Kripalani’. Kripalani ji was a constant ally of Gandhiji for the salvation of Harijans. He was also the General Secretary of ‘All India National Congress’ and President of Meerut Congress of 1946. His wife Sucheta Kriplani was also the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. After 1927, the life of Acharya Kripalani was completely spent in the freedom struggle and furthering the creative tendencies of Gandhiji. He also established an institution called ‘Gandhi Ashram’ in Uttar Pradesh to revive Khadi and village industries. He did M.A. He received his education from ‘Ferguson College’ in Pune, which was founded by Lokmanya Tilak and his associates. Kripalani started his professional career as a teacher. Kailash Bajpai (11 November 1936 – 1 April 2015), a well-known Hindi litterateur. He has been honored with many honors including Sahitya Akademi. Kailash Bajpai also wrote a column for the daily newspaper Amar Ujala. He was a ‘philosophical mood’ poet on whom the deep influence of Indian monism and Buddhist philosophy can be targeted. Death Anniversary
Devaki Kumar Bose (25 November 1898 – 11 November 1971), the most imaginative film director of the theaters’ era, followed the ‘silent era’ in the history of Indian cinema.
